RoonBridge is a lightweight network audio receiver that turns a compatible computer into a Roon endpoint. Install it as a background service on Windows, macOS, or Linux (including ARM platforms like Raspberry Pi) to expose the device’s connected USB DAC, HDMI, or built-in audio outputs to your Roon system. Using Roon’s RAAT (Roon Advanced Audio Transport) protocol, RoonBridge delivers bit-perfect, high-resolution, gapless playback with automatic sample-rate switching and reliable multi-room synchronization. Setup is simple: install RoonBridge, connect your audio device, and the new zone appears in Roon. Designed for headless use, it runs quietly with minimal overhead and keeps itself up to date, making it ideal for repurposing small PCs and single-board computers as network audio endpoints.
